St Patty's Day Project
Here is a quick little project to celebrate St Patties Day. You can find the pattern at Quilterscache.com

This originates from the 1930's and is also known as a Good Luck Block, or Lucky Block. I decided that it needed a little 2009 update, so I "Googled" coloring book pages and came up with the little leprechaun in the center of the quilt. There is a "plethora" of free information at your finger tips with "Google". This is opening doors in more ways that I ever dreamed possible. Let your fingers "Google" this week and see what you come up with. It's a huge world out there!

I don't do St. Patrick's Day items very often but I am sorely tempted to try making a version of your quilt. It is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI hear you! I also had never made anything for St Patty's day. Since it was all scraps that I had onhand, I decided to just go for it. Using up stash is so rewarding and every new little project seems to spur on an idea for yet another one. That is the real bonus to it all. Once the creative juices start to flow, watch out, it's addicting!
