It's gray and dreary, but it's dry so far.
The weatherman says 18" to 20". Yikes!
I've even dug up all my fabric dyeing supplies from my outdoor dye station. If all goes well, I will be in "snow dyeing" heaven tomorrow.
So I am torn, snowed in, or not snowed in... I ready to make the best of whatever comes our way.
I have filled my car with gas, and loaded up on groceries... Filled buckets with water, cause we always seem to loose electricity and when your on a well, you have no water then. So you know we probably won't get enough to worry about now that I am prepared!!
Hummm, I just looked out the window and it's here! Wonder just what we will see????????
Be safe and warm - and keep the snow!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you have planned to play in the snow if you get enough/too much! A bit of fun!
ReplyDeleteWish I didn't have to work. Thats not my favorite thing about working in a hospital - you still have to go in. My son works for the school district so he'll be home enjoying the snow. Forgot cat food though. Surely they will be having too much fun in the snow to notice it though. We have a boatload on the ground and sounds like the drive home (12 inches by then) should be fun. What am I saying? I haven't even gotten there yet LOL
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like being ready....you have the most important things...your dyes ready to go.... Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteLooks like that storm is bearing down on you! Have a great time - I'e never tried snow dyeing but I think I'd better! ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteGood luck and happy dyeing hope you ride out the storm safely and with electricity.
