Stamp on it Blog Hop

I just love this hop... not that I don't love them all, but this one really caught my attention!   A personal stamp, I can design my very own stamp, what fun!

A big round of applause to our infamous Madame Samm, who's creativity tops the charts, and of course our favorite blog hop mom, Thearica from Pig Tales and Quilts.  You girls have no idea just how much we all love you!

For those who know me, you knew my stamp would have a moose on it...and you are soooooo right!  After all, is there really anything else??? LOL!!

He is another of those adorable Whipper Snapper designs.  Is his face, just the about sweetest thing you have ever seen? Although I have to say, I've not met many moose with sweet dispositions. :-)

My new kitchen needed a new trivet, and this was just perfect!

Remember those trivet tux's I did a few years ago?  These fit over ceramic tiles and are removable so they can easily be washed. It's such a great way to add a little zing to your kitchen.  For those who are new to my blog, you can find the tutorial right here...

http://moosestashquilting.blogspot.com/2011/02/scrap-your-way-to-wonderful-trivets.html

I used a 12" tile for this, but the fun thing is, they are so versatile that you can use any size your little heart desires.  My new floor is done in 6"x24" tiles...hummmm now that would make an interesting trivet. I'm gonna have to give that one a try  :-)

Give a way time...
It's summer here in the USA, and so much to do, that sometimes quilting takes a back seat. So I have this little quilt pattern to give a way.
Fast, fun and easy. Best of all, it would make a fabulous picnic throw.
Just leave me a comment telling me about your favorite summer time fun!
I'll be picking a winner on July 3rd, the last day of our hop!

Till then, be sure to stop in and see everyone's creations.
Enjoy!!

                                  Here is today's lineup.
I am off to see what fun "stamps" they have created!
                                        See you there.
                                                 :-)

  7. Your moose is so cute, but the Swedish mooses I have seen IRL are not cute, they are so big. Your stamp is adorable and a great idea to make a trivet out of it. My favorite doing in summer is to sit on my balcony eating strawberries and other juicy fruits that are ripening during summer.
Thank you for sharing your creativity. Summer greetings from me in Sweden

LOL I love it when my granddaughters come for a week in the summer along with their mom and dad, when he doesn't have to work. This week, we have baked pies, made homemade ice cream, made homemade chicken and noodles, made water bottle carriers, made tulip baskets, made pillow cases, and decorated bird houses. We still have 3 days to go! Oh, I forgot to mention the wiener roast and the fact that they got to go to quilt club with me. Great fun!
