Our feathers have been ruffled, our chips have got ridges...everything under the sun has been ruffled. Was this just too much fun or what?
I promised a give a way, and with the help of Random.org. # 11 was picked as my winner.

Congrats Karen. I will get your package in the mail to you!
Sorry for the late post today. I am still adjusting to my new midnight shift hours. Whew, when you are this old it get harder! LOL!!!
I also got some very exciting news today, that took me away from my computer...
Remember my old Moosie sewing machine, the one that bit the dust? Well, it's been 2 months but Bernina did not let me down. Parts came in for it finally. I think it was on the slow boat getting here, but it's all good, cause Moosie has new life breathed into her! I picked her up today, and she us just beautiful. Happy dance, happy dance!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I've got some serious sewing to do now that moosie is back!
:-)
Congratulations to the winner and thank you for hosting. Wonderful to hear Moosie was repairable and home.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Moosie is home!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't great to have Moosie home?? I still think about bringing my old Singer downstairs. It's up in my bedroom closet. It about 37 years old. I can't remember if Mom bought it for me just before or just after my son was born. I still have my first machine, too! Of course, that's not all - but ... There's only one that's old. It was my paternal grandmother's treadle that my dad converted to electric. So, it's precious to me. Knowing my kids, it'll go to the dump when I'm gone. I get frustrated having to rethread and rethread my current machine. I don't remember having to do that with my older machines. I'm just blessed to have a machine(s).
ReplyDeleteClap, clap, clap, congrats to the winner, and I'm sew happy you have your Moosie back! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you and big smiles here!!
ReplyDeleteI am impressed that your favourite machine can be fixed. Will there be a welcome home party??? And how will its replacement feel???
Good luck adjusting to the late shifts. I would have a lot of trouble doing that. How often will you have t work the late ones?
