Oh my goodness, did these Lovely "Latte" Ladies, just do a magnificent job, with amazing projects or what? I can't tell you, what a privilege it was to cheerlead for all of you! Each and every one of you inspires me every day!
I consulted my crystal ball (also known as Random.org) and #19 was picked as my winner of the Have a Latte Blog Hop. That would be none other than Super Mom No Cape. Now if that isn't the greatest name I've ever heard. Speaks a lot about all moms, doesn't it. I've already dropped and email to Super Mom for her mailing, and will be sending this little mug rug and some other goodies her way.
Thanks again Clothworks for the wonderful fabric.
It inspired so many!
And a round of applause to Madame Samm for her love of our community
and her willing to take on the monster project of keeping us in stitches!
Literally that is!
;-)
As for me...I just got back from a quilt retreat last night.
Whew, what a time.
Work, work, work!
No fun, at all
Oh crap, I forgot to edit out those wine glasses!
Not a laugh to be had...
Rats another glass, and the bottle to boot!
This was our entertainment.
...and did they deliver!
Sharon showed us a great disappearing block method.
Interesting, how we all started with the same size block.
And that was even before we broke out the wine
????
Here is lesson learned...
You can't drink and stitch. I was so proud of finishing my little top...
only to find that I stitched those blasted yellow block together wrong.
Where is that seam ripper anyway?
We did a little shopping in the Mennonite Community.
This is Weavers on Seneca Lake, a 200 yr old barn.
With an incredible view.
Gorgeous Quilts!
I have to tell you...
There is nothing better on the planet than these ladies.
And I don't think I have laughed so hard...at least since the last time I was with them!
Where did I find such an incredible group...
thru blogging.
Just goes to show, that we have the best folks on the planet right here in our blog world.
It brings each and every one of us a little closer together every day.
Even if we can't travel to be together, it's a daily retreat just to keep in touch thru blogging!
Wishing you all a fabulous day!
;-)
Wonderful job on this hop.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great retreat. I must admit that I looked at the yellow block and thought it was intentional. Loved the contrast in both color and construction and I haven't even started on the wine yet.
Looks like you had a fabulous time. Love seeing those wine glasses being used!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool!! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a blast on your retreat. A quilt retreat is on my list of things to do within the next year.
Nooooooooooo you have to leave the block that whichwayround!
ReplyDeleteIts proof you had a blast and will give you some conversation if anyone notices it!!
It will be a lovely reminder of friends and laughter : )
Great job on the hop. Glad to see that you treated yourself to a weekend retreat.
ReplyDeleteWell done with all involved in the hop and congrats to your winner.
ReplyDeleteNow as for that retreat - I can see wine glasses but who says that is wine inside? Could be water!! Who am I kidding!!
Looks like a lot of fun. Love seeing the stunning quilts, too.
