Don't you just love that "pumpkin" time of the year?
It just warms my heart!
A big thanks to Carla, over at "Creatin' in the Sticks"
for bringing us together, to share the love of the season.
This was a great way for me to "Pick" up a project that I tested for Sharon
over at "Yellow Cat Designs" a year ago. A whole year??? OMG!
It got lost in my UFO's and somehow managed to never get quilted.
Shame on me...
My humble apologies Sharon.
Who knew that getting it quilted was going to prove to be the easiest of this task?
Taking photos was going to be the real challenge.
Denali, was having none of this stay off it...pleeeeeease!
Here's a quick shot of "In the Pumpkin Patch", finally.
You can find the pattern for this fun quilt
Check out "Yellow Cat Designs" fabulous blog,
you'll be glad you did!
I also made up this cutie from
"The Clever Chameleon"
Dione, shared this with us during the "Fabulous Freebies" blog hop,
I hosted in August.
You can find the pattern
There's another blog that's a don't miss. This girl is crazy talented!
I "LOVE" her eye, for applique designs.

ReplyDeleteSuper job on both projects Joan. Love seeing the stacked pumpkins in another set of fabrics. :) Orange kitty figured the first quilt was for her.... you did say yellow cat's design, right?
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful projects! I appreciate that you shared the links in case we are tempted to make our own.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun projects Joan! Thanks for the inspiration:)

ReplyDeleteCute, cute. I've been seeing the last pumpkin around the web - it's so sweet. Love the stack of pumpkins - about to FALL. A perfect quilt for a moosestash girl!!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects. My Dainty is like Denali - a camera comes out and she is right there for her close-up. :)
ReplyDeleteTwo terrific pieces to kick off this hop. Love the model. Can't get over how big he's getting. That pumpkin pot that ends your post is very cool.
ReplyDeleteLove the color in that quilt!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous projects.
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkin quilts are great! I can easily see why Denali claimed one for himself. Thank you for all the great links!
ReplyDeleteBoth pumpkin quilts are perfect for the season. Also luv your kitty prop.
ReplyDeleteAdorable projects AND cat :)
ReplyDeleteMore wonderful finishes, Joan. You never fail to impress us with your work.
ReplyDeleteDenali is the perfect model for this beautiful quilt! Sometimes we get so busy that little beauties like this get pushed aside...glad you finished it. Your quilt group had such a fun party (wish I was there!) and the pumpkin turned out so cute.
ReplyDeleteI love all your pumpkin projects. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThis is a great hop, love the projects you shared! Also thanks for the link to Dione's "Freebies" post too -- great project there. I am putting this hop in my phone calendar so I remember to "hop along" each day this week!
ReplyDeleteCute pumpkin patch!!! Sometimes it is getting close to the finish line that trips us up!! Well done on your finish...and I really like your squishy pumpkin!!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects and cute kitty!

ReplyDeleteFabulous as ever, Joan! Denali is the purrrfect addition to your beautiful quilt. The stacked pumpkin quilt is also cute, as is your Halloween decoupage pumpkin. Thanks for sharing in the hop. I love pumpkin season ... :-) Pat
ReplyDeleteLove your wall hangings! Denali is a cute cat. I have 3 orange tiger cats.
ReplyDeleteSo great to see your quilt finished, and really, Denali is a great part of the landscape. =)
ReplyDeleteVery very cool I loved the stacked pumpkins...ty for sharing. .. happyness04431@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteJoan, you never disappoint and always supply lots of quilty eye candy. I'm so happy to see Dione's pattern show up at this hop. When I saw it during the Freebies hop I thought it should be here too. Love your quilts and your little pumpkin at the end. Thanks for joining the Pick a Pumpkin blog hop!
ReplyDeleteLove the stacked pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteFunny that you had trouble photographing a Yellow Cat Designs pattern quilt because an orange cat was too involved! (I have lots of that going on at my house, too, only my helpers are of the brown tabby variety.)
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous projects. I hadn't seen your quilt club project anywhere so am entranced with it. Must do that next year (If I can remember that long). Looks easy enough. Thanks for sharing your lovely projects.
ReplyDeleteLoving these projects. I must make it a point to do something pumpkin-ish next fall!
ReplyDeleteBoth are great projects! but I really like how you used the fabric with the words for the background on the second one.
ReplyDeleteWhat great projects you've shared for the hop! I love that you used the hop as inspiration to finish a UFO. We all have lots of those, don't we? :)
ReplyDeleteKitty was your Vanna for the quilt. LOL Love the projects. My favorite was the stacked pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing with everyone. I know everything about you. It's great and it's great.
