Ribbit!
That's frog talk for welcome to my day to share my "Nifty Novelties" with you!
LOL!!
I was so excited when Marian announced this hop last spring!
I brain-stormed with my BFF about what to do with all my bug prints.
She came up with "frogs" that love to eat little buggy things!
LOL!!
That lead me to an online search of kids coloring pages.
Where I found the perfect one, at "Raising our Kids.com"
I dug through my greens and went to work.
His little tummy patch was the perfect place to show off my bug novelty prints.
I chose to use a reverse applique stitch, on the tummies.
And adapted the eyes, using assorted circles from my Accuquilt GO dies,
which really brought them to life!
Here you have it, after playing with a layout...this "army" of frogs
have hopped their way into my heart!
LOL!!
Did you know a group of frogs is called an army?
Look it up, it surprised me!
Sometimes they are called a colony too, but I think I like the sound of a frog army.
I called in the troops and they gobbled up my bug novelties!
If only this wasn't the last little look of summer here.
The snow this week has put an end, to the lush pond life for this year.
LOL!!
Wow...thanks to
we have an awesome giveaway for one of you lucky readers today.
You can read the giveaway rules on Marian's post
Make sure you visit my fellow bloggers, they have more fun ways
to show off those nifty novelty prints.
