5 Little Monkeys Picnic Quilt

The weather is changing and we are all tired of being cooped up.

Oh how a picnic in the park would be fun...

BUT

You can't!

Let's step back a minute.

Thinking of that song from "Frozen" 

(we've all heard it zillion times)

Do you want to build a snowman?

Come on let's go and play....

Well, I've rewritten it a bit, to speak of our COVID 19 Quarantine situation.

Would you like to have a picnic?

Well you can't, so go away!

It's really how we are all starting to feel, isn't it?

If your not one of the essential workers, or someone in the medical field, you may

just have as much time on your hands as I do, so let's make that picnic quilt 

and prepare for the better days ahead.

This is "5 Little Monkeys".

 It's 68 1/2" x 68 1/2" size is roomy enough to for all the monkeys in your life.

Easter Hip Chicks

It's almost the 11th hour, but I managed to get a new table runner made

for Easter. 

With all the social distancing and closures of non essential businesses, 

I had to shop my stash.

That's not always a bad thing, but it created some rather heart stopping

 moments for me.

I have no Easter fabric in my stash.

This jelly bean fabric was all I found. With very careful cutting of the borders, 

this is what was left over. Oh there was such a sign of relief. LOL!!

This cutie is from Colourwerx. I found it as a free download on Facebook a week ago,

during the

Unfortunately, it looks like they have taken the link down now.

If there is one thing I have learned, it's to download and save those freebies

as soon as you see them, because you just never know!

This month Carla from "Creatin' in the Sticks"

What better, than growing your very own, pot full of strawberries to "share".

 What a great block, to play with a little thread painting.

Giving the leaves some veins and stitching in some runners, really bring 

those strawberries to life.
