Pandemic Commerative Quilt

Lets face it, we have all been through the wringer this past year. While things are starting to look up, we are still not where we would all like to be, just yet. I thought I just wanted to forget it ever happened, but...

Once I saw this pattern, I knew I had to have it in my quilt collection.
50 years from now, someone might get a giggle out of it.
Or just wonder what the heck Zoom and Netflix are!

With all the history we find in quilting, it just seemed like it was a "must make",
 for me!

You can find the pattern from Angie Padilla Quilt Patterns

I've been posting these blocks on my Instagram and Facebook page daily.
If you'd like to take a closer look at each block, you can check them out with the links on the right hand side bar.
Do you see a Pandemic Quilt in your future???

til next time...
Keep on Stitchin'

  1. This is just fabulous!! My pandemic quilt is a pattern by Jessica Dayon. It is house blocks with quilt blocks inserted in each, and represents what I did to excess during this time. Not finished yet, but neither is the pandemic.

  2. I made one during the first couple months of lockdown, it kept me sane. Not nearly as pretty as yours, I named it Quilter in Quarantine.

  5. Thanks for sharing the info on the pandemic quilt. Despite telling myself NO MORE PATTERN BUYING!!, I just HAD to have this one. After fighting with my computer (buffering issues), I was finally able to purchase it and have printed out a couple of blocks to get started.. maybe this weekend. Kind of excited! :)

  6. I enjoyed watching you show these on FB and it reminded me of some of the aspects of covid that I had forgotten about so quickly. I think it will be a piece of history in the future.
