It's a Wrap for the I'm Falling for You blog hop

I hope you didn't miss any of the incredible posts my fellow bloggers and I shared this week.
Yesterday we were dazzled by Susan's "Rain Chains" table runner and placemats. She combined a modern looks with warm fall colors. Perfection!
Our combined Susan and Sharon team known as "Ms P Designs USA" delighted us with the cutest fall coasters with sunflowers and scarecrows.
Lianne, turned to a beautiful Lori Holt project. While it's spring where she lives, she inspired us all with this beauty.
Leah had 2 big finishes, one has been in the works for awhile and one was a quickie...so she said. LOL!  They both are spectacular. I want to quilt like she does when I grow up! ;-)
And lastly I shared my "Pineapple Crazy" quilt that I have been crazily piecing this summer.

With our temperatures are starting to fall, I know we are all excited to get back
into our sewing rooms. I have so many ideas! Now, if only I could clone myself
to get them all done.
LOL!!

Please join me in giving a big round of applause to everyone who participated.
You rocked the theme, and inspired us, all!

For those who may have missed it, you can find the link to all the bloggers

I'm Falling for You Blog Hop...my day!

It's my day to share in the "I'm Falling For You" blog hop.

I've long been a huge fan of Bonnie Hunter and this year, I fell for her, hard! I worked on the "Grassy Creek Mystery" that started last November and have all but the borders done for it. But they just didn't happen once I found the papers I printed for "Pineapple Crazy" from her "String Fling" book.

I dumped all my scraps...well maybe more like shards of fabric. The size a normal person might throw away, and emptied my scrap bins, even used up a box of scraps Selina, from "Selina Quilts" sent me earlier this year. This project is not for the faint of heart. There are 224 - 5" finished size paper pieced blocks, that have 45 pieces in each block! That's a total of 10,080 pieces.
Additionally there were 60 border pieces, but they were a piece of cake with only 30 pieces in each block, which was only 1800 more pieces! Did I mention that they ranged from between 3/4" and 1" wide??? LOL!!
And here it is! All 11,880 pieces of it!
I couldn't have done it without help... Lots of help.
Sweet Pea is getting older now and likes to help. She manages my pieces and helps in removing the papers! Even before I'm done sewing them, sometimes!
I know she is going to be a quilter, because she has mastered that look of disgust,
we all have when things don't work out right!
Seriously though, this really did take a village to finish. I was getting down to the wire and a couple of my quilt club friends spent a Saturday removing paper from my blocks, so I could get this done in time for the hop. A big thanks to Dorothy and Jessica, I couldn't have done it without you!
Here is the corner of the border...Oh my, I completely forgot to add those numbers into my total pieces count!
LOL!!
After it was quilted, it got a thorough inspection!
Then, the official stamp of approval!
And that my friends is what "I am Falling For" this year!

It's been quite a week hasn't it. My fellow bloggers have not disappointed.
Yesterday Karrin dazzled us with so many incredible fall projects.
Beth made an over the top cute Canadian wall hanging.
Daryl shared a project from her UFO pile that just knocked my socks off!
Karen made the sweetest little fall podlet.
Elana made us all fall hard, for her beautiful little pouches!
Kris shared a fun pattern for her "Beanstalk" table runner.

We are wrapping up this week, with these incredible bloggers.
Check them out and leave them a little love!
Happy Fall Ya'll!

I'm Falling for You blog hop Day 4 is coming to your door

Oh my goodness, the fabulous projects just keep on coming.
Today...

Elizabeth, dazzled us with her incredible wool work again. Her wool table runner was over the top impressive. No one does wool  like she can!

Bea, dazzled us with her "Honor a Veteren" pattern, . She switched out the colors and we fell for it's beauty!

Julia has to be wonder woman in disguise! She not only had an incredible garden, but she designed a quilt depicting all the canning she has done as a result of her bounty!

Selena, entertained us not only with her ice cream story, but also with her oops moment with a ceiling fan, then went on to show us her technique in changing up the size of a fabric motif!

Lyndsey, is working on an adorable table topper that her kitty decided to make his own. LOL!! Oh how I can relate some days.

These girls fell hard! So lets give them a big round of applause!

Tomorrow promises to be another fun day.

Wow, wow, wow!
My fellow bloggers never disappoint.
I hope you caught all the incredible projects today.

Just Let Me Quilt Carol, shared her adorable "Gnome for Thanksgiving" with us, done in those fabulous brushed houndstooth fabrics from Benartex. I'm in love with both the pattern and the fabric!

Just Sew Quilter Carol, shared fall placemats she made with Crafters Edge Dies. She showed us how to use a half of a hexagon to make a braided edge. Ingenious!

Joy did a beautiful stitchery using our hop name, that was awesome. While the temperatures are heating up where she lives, she still worked on fall, for us all! 💓

Kathy shared table runner and napkin sets she made with us. Perfect for those cool fall days ahead!

Cheree showed us how to make the cutest little migrating bird block, and shared her love of the season with us all.  Cheree is new to our group of bloggers and we are thrilled she joined us.

Tomorrow guarantees to bring more fall joy to our hearts...

Did you all love our first day of bloggers, like I did today?

It always warms my heart when I see such beautiful projects.

Anorina made a beautiful runner with fall leaves and what a bonus for her to share the leaf patterns, with us as well.

Gail made a gorgeous Maple Leaf table runner using those awesome "Island Batik" fall colors and the Accuquilt Go Maple Leaf die.

Java Jackets

In todays world of recycle and reuse, along with my passion for getting a "cuppa" all day long, I've found that quilted "Java Jackets" are not only super fun to make, but "gift" as well.
No matter if your a "Disney Head" or someone who just loves their coffee...

with the help of

and some fun novelty prints you are on your way!
Adding text  or graphics to convey a special message is easy when using

My family might tell you, this "resembles" me.
I think I'm more of a "Ghastly" kinda girl, myself!

Speaking of Ghastly...with the holidays approaching, what an easy and inexpensive gift for your Halloween crazy friends, family and co-workers.
You can find my free pattern and tutorial for embellishing over on the
Thermoweb blog HERE

Just fill them up, with a ghoulish assortment of goodies and make someone's day!

These jackets will fit any 12-16 oz cup.

I found these at the Dollar Store in my area.
 This 2 pack was $1.
Amazon for the exact same cups, wanted $19.95 for 4 packages. That's just 8 cups!
Hummm...lets do the math here?????

Now comes Christmas...oh the ideas are spinning...
It's never to early to start on Christmas!

No matter if it's a holiday or for just plain ole fun,
there is a Java Jacket for everyone!

Dracula Garden Flag

It's never too early to start thinking about Halloween now is it?
You know what a crazy ole bat I am, over this holiday!
LOL!!

I'm just as crazy about that, as I am garden flags, right now
thanks to...

I can take my fabric projects outdoor and not worry about the weather.

You choose the number of coats you need
1 coat - water and stain-resistant
2 coats - waterproof and stain-resistant
3 coats - water proof and stain-resistant with a semi-gloss oilcloth finish
It paints on easily and your brush cleans up with water.

Letters have never been so easy to cut, when using "Crafters Edge" dies and the Crossover II cutter.
The dies are all individual, making it easy to mix and match in one cut.
The Crossover II machine has pressure settings that makes cutting 1 layer of fabric as easy as cutting 4-5 layers at a time.

That makes this little guy one happy little "sucker"!
Get it?
Dracula...sucker
Ok, I really need to go back to my day job.

You  can find my free pattern over on the Thermoweb blog
HERE

Thanks to the fine folks at Thermoweb, you will be seeing flags popping up throughout the year.
I hope you join in on the garden flag revolution!
