We have Hopscotched on Toucan Watch, ringed letters and numbers in Toucan Toss, played Tic-Tac-Toe and Toucan Cornhole. Now this "Toucan Tote" bag has plenty of room for the rings and bean bags we have collected, along with the reversible activity mat and extra snacks to take along.
If you have been following my Jungle Theme "Toucan" projects you've likely seen this reversible quilt.
Now, using the leftover fabrics from this 2-sided quilt, you should have plenty to make this tote bag.
All fabric requirements are included in the free pattern for you.
Combined with these Thermoweb products you will have a sturdy tote bag that's easy to make.
HeatNBond EZ Print Lite or HeatNBond®Lite
HeatNBond Non-Woven Craft Fusible X-Firm 60” wide
I Craft Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive is a great way to add the handles to this bag, by keeping them straight and fused to the bag allowing you to stitch without pins. Once you get the handles placed where needed just run a bead of the adhesive down the back side of the handle and let dry for a few minutes.
SprayNBond®Basting Adhesive holds the layers of your bag front and lining together nicely, to aid in quilting each piece.
There are plenty of tips, tricks and photos in the free pattern.
