This pattern will be a free pattern for the duration of the BOM.

All pattern are easy to find at the top of the page, in the Featured Posts tab.

This BOM runs from Jan 1st through September 30th. As with years past, on the first day of each month, we will release block patterns on our Facebook group page, that will be free for that calendar month. They will then go into our individual ETSY shops, where you can purchase them for $2 each block.  We have had emails and fielded many questions, so what is "new" this year, is that the entire pattern is now available in each of our ETSY shops for $15.  You no longer have to wait until it's over, to be able to purchase the pattern. It's also an option for those of "us" who just can't wait for the next months release. LOL!! 

We hope you appreciate the time we put into creating this BOM and understand that we are keeping the costs to a minimum for you. We ask that you respect our copyrights and do not share this pattern. Sweet on You Day 4 in Review

It has been a week for the record, with so many "Sweet on You" treats! 

Today...

• Carol shared her "Hugs and Kisses" quilt done with Benartex's fabulous "Be My Gnomie" line of fabric. It really puts the heart into Valentines day and her Gnome quilt was icing on the cake!
• Sandie delighted us with her Love Notes. (Make sure you grab the free pattern she linked for you)
• Denise dazzled us with her sweet mug rugs and a strip quilt that she took to another level, with color and die cuts and her famous flying geese. 
• Melissa took us on a trip to the strawberry fields and shared a fabulous tutorial on making your own sweet stitchery! Thanks Melissa. 
• Julia shared the sweetest pouches that she designed, done in such fun fabrics.
• Kim gave me a good laugh today, between Anarchy and Noah leaving the ark. You have to check out her sweet quiltie!
• Arnorina made us all hungry with her sweet donuts!

I say this at the end of every hop....but it's true! I just hate seeing it come to an end. My fellow bloggers are the most creative and inspiring bunch there are. I do hope you all have enjoyed "I'm Kinda Sweet on You" as much as I did. A big thanks to all for making these challenge hops the best!

One of our sharp eyed readers posted this comment, and I wanted to share...

Vroomans posted a project with cross stitch patterns. The blogger stated that the designer disappeared. The designer was Ms. Velda. Ms. Velda was diagnosed with cancer and has died, but her patterns are offered for free at Cyberstitchers.com. Her patterns are under Angelic Stitches by Velda. Ms. Velda design many awesome smaller patterns and she made certain the patterns would be available for free after her death for all to enjoy.

Sweet on You Day 3 in Review

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling that "Sweet" sugar high this week!

Elizabeth went into scrap attach mode for this hop with 5 projects that put the "S" in sweet! You know she spoke right to my soul, with scrap busting.

Gail dug into her scrap bin of beautiful batiks, to create the sweetest little mini. Oh how I love batiks.

Charlene not only treated one of her co-workers to an incredibly sweet surprise, but she delighted us all with it too. 

Bea scrap busted her sweet "Beach Bum" design using the Accuquilt GO.

Kathy dazzled us with her sweet feather quilting! Oh the eye candy.

Lynn shared beautiful photos of the wildlife in her area along with a gorgeous mystery quilt and even more!

It was a scrap attach kind of day and you all made my heart happy!

The "Sweetness" continues today with these wonderful bloggers.

Sweet on You Day 2 in Review

The fun continued with more "Sweet" projects!

• Vicki shared her sweet little Valentines quiltie with us.
• Carla shared her gorgeous rainbow star quilt. Needless to say, I was over the moon with the scrappy-ness of it all!
• Carol made her husband a very happy guy with her not 1, not 2, but 3 sweet pillows for Valentines Day.
• Sharon and Susan, the creative forces behind MsP Designs, has once again delighted us with a fabulous array of sweet designs. Drinking coffee is my "jam"...Bet you would never guess which one rang my bell this morning. LOL!!
• Karla's over the top sweet projects shows us all the love. From quilts to crafts, she really knows how to dress up her home for the holidays!
• Sharon stitched up the sweetest kitties and made them into a mini quilt. Who doesn't love kitties?
• Beth is seriously giving my diet a run for my money with her delicious ice cream cones. She even rescued this beauty, after a fraying event. 

I can't thank you girls enough for bringing us "Sweet" joy!

Sweet on You Day 1 in Review

Nothing beats "Sweets" and my fellow bloggers who share them with us.

Yesterday I kicked off the "Sweet on You" hop by sharing my treat shelf and a chocolate quilt.

You know chocolate makes the world go round! LOL!!

• Karrin "Gnomes" us so well, with her sweet little projects. Her pillows are just adorable and that Minnie Mouse table runner made my heart sing. If that wasn't enough, she's even working on a redwork stitchery, as well.
• Leah must know that my favorite chocolate is Lindor Truffles. Those gift bags she made for them are just perfection!
• Selina shared her "sweet" little candy envelopes and purses and and even made birthday placemats to brighten someones day!
• Brianna delighted us with her sweet Valentines table and shared her fussy cutting tips.
• Joy shared her "heartfelt"  tutorial on the sweetest little needle case. We all need these.
• Kris shared one sweetheart of a treat with us, with her Heart of my Heart Quilt!

You girls rocked the hop today and we have more to share...

I'm Kinda "Sweet on You" Challenge/Blog Hop

Welcome to day 1 of our "Sweet on You" challenge.  I love seeing just what my fellow bloggers have done to meet the challenge each month. As for me...

My "Sweet" project is really all about sweets! My favorite treat.

Are you a gummy worm lover, or dots, (my favorite) conversation hearts, taffy and those gross wax bottles of some kind of sweet liquid, or licorice? I remember sucking those dots off the paper as a kid. What's better than a soggy paper right? 

My shelf of treats was make with "Crafter's Edge" "Nestled Jar" die's.

I think this is one of the greatest new dies they have released. I see all kinds of things to put up on shelves in these jars! Sewing supplies, fruits and veges, oh and don't get me started on all the Halloween things that can go in them, too!

But lets get serious about treats here...

There is nothing that speaks to me more than "CHOCOLATE" and these little proverbs just say it all!

That lower right one is likely what my friends will tell you, reminds them most about me.

All that chocolate and those proverbs worked their way into my 

"Heavenly Chocolate Bliss" quilt.

This fun pattern is from Angie Oswald at "Quilting Melodies".

Many years ago I stumbled on the pattern at HMQS in Salt Lake City.

They had a special display of these chocolate quilts and all were so different!

After seeing that exhibit, I knew that I had to have the pattern.

You may remember seeing my pink version on my blog, back in 2011.

It was so much fun to make, that my friend and I taught a class in 2012, at our local sewing shop.

Blinging it up a bit, was fun using a lame fabric.

It's kind of a bugger to stitch, but well worth the trouble.

After all, it makes those Hershey bars and kisses almost look real!

Happy Valentines Day

 

As the saying goes...the early bird gets the worm. 

I'm not too sure just what I would do with worms, so I changed them out for hearts.

LOL!!

This little project is part of Julie Cefalu, the Crafty Quilters 2014 "Nordic Mini Quilt Along".

Yes, I dug deep into those projects that I have been wanting to do for so long.

No, I didn't do the whole project yet, but I will one of these days! 

(famous last words, right?)

I used the larger size heart pattern for this little mini and added a sweet little bird, who flew in just to drop off some love.
